In Germany are many Tamils and instead of Poland, you should research about this country here! =) Cause if you plan to work, then you will not find a job in Poland .. you know that after their graduation many Poles go abroad, to work in part-time jobs in the western world? For example an IT student goes to the UK and works in a warehouse ..
Do yourslef a favour and research about other countries, like Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
And of course visit the country you want to live in first! =)

If you plan to study here, in the state NRW (Nordrhein-Westfalen) is study for free! There are no costs .. you eve get as student some money called "BaföG" (more information , when you really plan to come here ).
I dont know if Poland have a economy crisis .. do they even have a economy?? All big companies there are German.

Carrefour, Auchan, Leclerc, Orange, Canal+, Decathlon, Bricorama, Bricoman, Castorama, Leroy-Merlin, L'Oréal, Saint-Gobain, Lafarge Cements, Michelin, Lactalis, Pierre Fabre, Franck Provost, Yves Rocher, Société Générale, BNP, Crédit Agricole, Allior, Jean-Louis David, Camaieu, Promod, Jacqueline Riu, just to name a few out of the more than 700 French companies. There are also a lot of companies from numerous western countries (Zara, H&M, Citibank,.....).
Poland is probably not exactly what you're looking for; try perhaps Germany or the UK instead. You're most welcome to visit of course but I'm just slightly worried that the standard of living might fail to meet your expectations.

Oh boy... you can say many things, but this is enormous BS... I've never met any decent, not great but decent IT graduate who couldn't find a place in the field either in Poland or elsewhere... That is still the case in that domain. How stupid would that person be to go to the warehouse (except warehouse lovers)? If Polish IT salaries are not enough for someone the only thing to do is to make a year or two experience in something useful (ie. android recently) and London welcomes you with open arms and salaries more than satisfactory.

Not hard. Impossible. No one will go through the trouble of getting a work permit for a non+skilled, non-EU worker. Base your plans on the very sage assumption that you will not be able to earn a penny during your visit to Poland. If you require a job to earn money to finance your studies, then Poland is simply not the right place for you.
Since you are asking about unskilled labor, the chances are exceedingly low that you will be able to fulfill the requirements for a visa. Don't waste your money or time trying.
@I. Hassan: You don't speak Polish, you don't come from the EU and you don't have skills (if any) needed in Poland so how do you expect to receive work permit???? In order to be issued a work permit, a potential boss has to ,prove to the authorities that NO Pole and NO resident can do the job so your chances are 0%. Besides, be aware that Poland is not a tolerant country and no one would make things easy for you here... Go to UK instead for instance!

I normally agree by 100% when you write something but here when saying that chances are "exceedingly low", this is wrong since chances are 0%.

First time I've ever been accused of that on this website. And yes, it's unspeakably cruel when the other posters here hold out false hope to desperate foreigners and young people. I don't sugarcoat $hit.
@DominicB: Sorry to have misunderstood with your "exceedingly low", which I did not quite understand! True that you never give false hopes and so do I because we know life and we don't dream.
There certainly are overseas students working in the major cities, mostly as bar staff or in ethnic restaurants, however they are very much the lucky ones, especially since unemployment is high. The language barrier is also a very real impediment to finding any work at all.
There certainly are people who win the lottery, too. I wouldn't advise anyone to bet the farm on it, though. As Gosc said, it is far, far safer to assume that the OP will absolutely not find work at all in Poland than to cruelly hold out false hope.
My feelings too - there are plenty of local students chasing the same crap work and not finding it. Nevertheless some overseas students do find work, however they are rare and they are lucky. Especially as so few speak Polish.
