Has anyone in Poland that you know been affected by H1N1? (swine flu)

That's a shame. I had it in January (there was an epidemic in the city where I was at the time) and it was very unpleasant. Quite different to normal flu. Totally debilitating, and takes a while to get over.

The school my children are at , have had two confirmed cases of swine flu this week, my wife visited the doctor today at Damians mentioned the situation and she was informed there is an epidemic in Warsaw now. In my office people are dropping like flies, maybe not H1N1, there is a serious case of it out there.

Were you over here back then? I had it in january too, lost 3 days completly ,had some crazy half dreams half halucinations, didnt feel right for a good 3 weeks. Mind you,on the flip side, once Id recovered I hadnt felt so fit n healthy in years,it really seemed to purge a lot out of me.

And with all the Polish people round here and robin hood airport just down the road Im sure it will have been taken to Poland a few times.

Yes, on the Donny side of Wakefield - exactly the same symptoms. I'd been in central London on New Year's Eve and wonder if I'd picked it up there because it started a day or so after I got back. Plus some sort of post viral thing. And yes, I did feel better after - and back to a size 32!

At the time Id had no idea what I had ,you sort of dont worry about stuff when lying in a pool of sweat and hearing 20 year old conversations mixed over a 4 track .....It was only a couple of weeks later when I saw a friend who's a nurse at the local hospital and told her my symptoms that I found out Id have been hospitalised if Id gone to the Doctors .........

I don't know why would anybody want to put this stuff in their body. Eat right, boost up your immune system with veggies, fruit, grains etc., and you'll beat H1N1 without poisoning your body, especially kids. This flue shot campaign is such a scam.

I wonder if anybody here got one...

How do you know if it is an epidemy already? Who said that?
And how's that possible when almost no doctors provide examination to determine if it is flu or a cold or something else.
