Hey just a quick question or 2. Who is your ISP and why? What kind of speeds can I expect? And if I wanted too can I set up Mobile satellite access? Or do authorities take a negative view of these.

UPC in Wroclaw. 120mb fiber for 150zl/mo.

I don't know anyone offering satellite internet access. I have a sat phone that I use when I'm in the air. Bought it here. If you need access when you're on the road, 3g coverage is available pretty much everywhere.

Aster - they operate in Krakow and Warsaw, they're ok, but do not always offer the magnificent speeds that are written on their website, it depends on their infrastructure at the particular block where you live.

Merged: What is the fastest internet connection I can get in Płock?

Hi everyone

I have just moved to Płock and looking for the fastest internet connection in the area. The usual 2-4 Mbits aren't sufficient.

Can anyone suggest something faster? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Merged: Three Polish internet providers, which one is better - UPC, Vectra or Nitronet?

Hi All,

I will be shifting in Warsaw soon and need to decide between the 3 internet providers - UPC, Vectra and Nitonet?

Which one is better. I need a high speed internet.

Any other suggestion are welcome.

Thanks,

The fastest and quite cheap internet has Vectra, so I would choose this provider if possible - 150Mb/s for 70PLN.

Check their offer:
