Information on medications and prescriptions in Poland; Rivotril / RELANIUM / DIAZEPAM

Hello,
I am going to relocate to Poland, Gdansk, and I want some information if anyone could provide about medications and prescriptions.
I need some medications about my stomach, I hope I could get it with prescription from my own country, but the most important to ask is about the medication my son need.

It is called Rivotril and in our country is prescribed monthly with special recipe. My question is, is there a special requirement for this medication in your country and how can I get it, if somebody has experience with it.

Also about my stomach medicines, can I buy it without visiting local doctor.
It would be helpful also to know a hospital and GP in Gdansk, where we can communicate in English at first.

I would be grateful of any help about my worries and issues.

Yes, you will not buy Rivotril in Poland without recipe. To get it you need to consult a doctor. You will have to pay for doctor consultation if you don't have insurance. I don't think that Bulgarian recipe is honored in Poland. You can always bring bigger quantity of Rivotril from Bulgaria, so you have enough until you have a job here and thus health insurance.

Not legally. Diazepam is a serious psychiatric drugs and legally controlled. You will need a prescription, and doctors nowadays are wary about giving benzodiazepines out because of their potential for abuse.
