Atypically, only pics, without any commentary.

Janosik

Not just pics. This is a discussion forum. Some text would be nice too.

Hmm, I think it is a fair deal - I post pics and members discuss what they see.

Agent J-23, a NKVD agent under cover in the Abwehr. In communist times sold to the public as a Polish hero. You can see him daily on cable.

Who is the man in the photos?

Marek Perepeczko, an actor who played Janosik, a legendary Robin Hood-like figure based on a Slovak national hero.

Come on, Doda?
It's disgrace to put Janosik and Hans Kloss next to her.

Next should be Thorgal.

Come on, Doda?

Yes, on request of male members of the forum.

It's disgrace to put Janosik and Hans Kloss next to her.

You are simply jealous.

Next should be Thorgal.

No, Thorgal isn`t truly Polish.

But I have sth better for you and other female members:

Yes, I loved them too but one day I realised they are the copy of Asterix/Obelix idea. Can you imagine my disappointment? :):):)

As a Polish patriot, I prefer original, pure Polish comic characters! :):):):)

E.g., Titus de Zoo. Funny, he was also made from ink, just like Ink Blot!

Does anyone remember the name of a cartoon with two cats one of them being Bonifacy?

And now *applause please* :

"Przygody kota Filemona"
I liked it, it was warm and fuzzy and the white kitten was sweet and funny :)

Yes, sweet, but a little silly, too. :):) This is what I found on the subject:

THE HEROES TO TODAY'S YOUNG POLES

Since a recent international study on youth authorities, heroes and idols did not include Poland, perhaps this forum may be a good place to find out where young Poles stand. The results differed from country to country and among the figures listed were (not necessarily in this order): Allah, Snoop Dog, Harry Potter, Jesus, Spiderman, Angeline Jolie, Superman, Nelson Mandela, Jackie Chan, Kelly Clarkson, Martin Luther King, Homer Simpson, Mohammed, Angela Merkel, Bruce Lee, Christiano Ronaldo, Bob Marley...

Each country had entries unique to itself, so Poles answering this query are free to add names not listed above.

Feud between two peasant families has remained engraved into Polish culture since 1960s.
