I am trying to rent out our apartment and the fact that we have electric heat is a huge issue for some people. We have accumulating heaters from ENEA that are super efficient. Is gas heat really (that much) cheaper?

Merged: Is gas heating (that much) cheaper than electric?

We are trying to rent out our apartment and the fact that it has electric heat seems to be an issue for potential renters. We have piece akumulacyjne which are very efficient, but it doesn't seem to help.

Here is comparison from 2011: tbkecoenergy.pl/artykuly/158-artyku-1

summary is here: tbkecoenergy.pl/images/jacek/artykuly/koszty_ogrz_d.png

0.24zł/kwH for gas
0.49zł/kwH for electricity
0.32zł/kwH for electricity when heated during night and agreement with electricity supplier has lower price during night.

Here somebody writes that this electric heating during night is not so expensive comparing to gas:

and here people are against because they write that night heating makes house warm when people are at work, and when they're back in the evening house i cold...

Thanks a lot for the reply and great information.

But the point of a piec akumulacyjny is to store the heat until it is needed. We never had the mentioned problem.
