Are there many crypto-Jews in Poland?

I was wondering if you are aware of the existence of crypto-jews in Poland. Crypto-jews are jews who try to make everyone believe they are polish while they are jews in secret. Thus they can easily infiltrate key positions. These specimens can be found very often leading bureaucratic procedures in Poland. You know guys, the polish bureaucracy is known to be highly inefficient, but in reality, this is done in propouse by crypto-jews. The idea is to stop any development in Poland for the better. And other example of crypto-jews in Poland is quite often found among professors in polish universities. Those professors often show despotism and corruption, they have an '' I know everything'' attitude and the slighlest critisism by a student towards them, (even if he is a clever one) will make the student to fail the course, eventhough if the student is right.

Yes, of course.

Not only there. For example, most forum members are. Their idea is to stop any development in PF for the better. Those members often show despotism and corruption, they have an '' I know everything'' attitude and the slighlest critisism by another participant towards them, (even if he is a clever one) will make the participant to fail the discourse, eventhough if the participant is right.

As people who have actually been to Poland, or better yet actually live here, can tell you: no, such persons do not exist.

However, there clearly are Pole-hating Americans and Canadians out there who pretend to be Polish-American so they can try to spoil the good name of Poland. Poland laughs at them and so does the rest of the civilized world.

@roca

Get an education. The constitution of Poland, and Polish law, states that one can be Jewish and Polish at the same time, just as one can be Jewish and American, or Polish and American for that matter. There's no evidence of a Jewish conspiracy to make Poland less efficient. If you have evidence, show me.

Otherwise, you're just making a fool of yourself by making up stories without presenting evidence.

I happen to have both Jewish and Polish blood by the way, and happen to think that Poles are unfairly stereotyped as being especially more anti-Semitic than other non-Jewish nations. Unfortunately, doing what you have just done makes it harder for good Poles to shrug off the unfair stereotype that defames the Polish nation. And that means you're a traitor to Poland.

Crypto Jews are sometimes called Maranos from (the Sephardi Jews in Spain and Portugal who would secretly practice Judaism in miedeval Europe times.

There is no doubt there are some. There are also Jewish people who might not know they are Jewish.

I have heard from random people that Kaczynski and Komorowski might be Jews (im not convinced though).

"I have heard from random people..." - you mean "you have read on some bizzare nutjob website".

Given that you don't live in Poland and don't have much contact with this country, what would you know about the existence of secret Jews?

And as for "not knowing that you're Jewish" - if you don't identify with it and don't claim any allegiance to it, what does it matter?

However, it is true that most PF members are actually Jewish.

Jews are nomadic by nature. I Get Around by The Beach Boys should be their theme tune. There are such people but not readily visible. Look within the ranks of PO or amongst the supporters of Widzew Lódź.

Pawian is a crypto-Jew ;)

Okayokok, would that not be Catholic and Polish at the same time. We could use ethnicity as in Ashkenazim/ Sephardim or Slav, although that is another story. From my understanding having dual nationality as in Polish/American is not the same as being Jewish/Polish or Catholic/American.

Well, Jewish identity is unusual in that it can be either (i) ethnic or (ii) religious or (iii) both.

One can also be Vietnamese and Polish at the same time, or Muslim and Polish at the same time - by law. Because contrary to racist anti-Polish stereotypes, Poland is a standard western liberal democracy.

Roca's theory was that one is either a Pole or a Jew, and that Jews in Poland are 'pretending' to be Polish while they devote their entire lives to their conspiracy to cause the inefficiencies Polish bureaucracy. I'm not sure why Roca chose the bureaucracy, given he hasn't provided any evidence he could have picked any other of Poland's failings to blame on a Jewish conspiracy.

Whether an ethnic Jew is secular like the late PiS foreign minister Stefan Meller, or religious like Rabbi Michael Schudrich, and has a Polish passport, he is Polish.

Roca's idea that secret Jews in Poland are not Poles but are pretending to be Polish is therefore impossible. A Jew with a Polish passport, whether he is religious or secular, is also a Pole.

On that point, by the way, Polish law states that anyone born outside Poland who has a single grandparent was was a Polish citizen, as defined, is Polish according to Polish law. That includes about half the current population of Israel.

Roca, you admitted you're not even Polish and yet you come on here saying who is a Pole and who isn't? You are ignorant if you think you can't be Polish and Jewish at the same time.

In paper you can be. The only state which still uses the Nuernberg racial laws nowadays is Israel.

In general, I want to answer to all the Jews who claim to be only a religion and can be citizen of any country. You know very well you are not, you can be citizen of any country in paper, but that does not mean anything since you are and remain a Jew. Judaism is not a religion, is a racial-political-criminal mafia dressed as religion. What could sound more harmless to the people than to say 'we are only a religious group' ? . And yes, the idea of judaism is to take over the all ''gentile'' nations, only when this is done, the judaic messiah would arrive.

Roca's idea that secret Jews in Poland are not Poles but are pretending to be Polish is therefore impossible. A Jew with a Polish passport, whether he is religious or secular, is also a Pole.

you conveniently omit the issue of allegiance - if you read stuff from Michał Cichy about the leadership of 'Gazeta Wyborcza' (he worked with them for good couple of years and was close to Michnik) you would see that for example for Helena £uczywo (who actually led Gazeta Wyborcza for quite a time) there is only one principal allegiance - other Jews and their interests - you could perhaps well imagine that interests of Poland and general Polish population are of minor concern for her (Cichy explains that with a trauma of the year 1968)

btw there was anecdotal situation where Gazeta Wyborcza bold-typed the first page headline 'Jerozolima nasza!' (Jerusalem is ours!) when the Israeli Kneset voted for incorporating of the territory of Jerusalem into the state of Israel somewhere in 1995

@gumishu

That's bullshit. Michnik has risked his own career to defend Poland's good name against false accusations of Anti-Semitism. To take just one of many examples, here he telling the self-righteous, finger-pointing, 'all Poles are antisemites' French Left what idiots they are on the subject of Katyn.

GW columnist Stanislaw Krajewski, a devout practising Jew, is one of very few Jews in the world who are loudly condemning Jewish crimes against Poles. He deserves a medal, not for Polish patriotism, but for telling the truth and being empirical about it.

That there are several prominent Jews in Poland's most important news outlet merely disproves the anti-Polish stereotype that Polish society is especially anti-Semitic, and for that I treat it as a very good thing.

As to Cichy, one should never take the grumblings of ex-employees at face value.

By the way PiS foreign minister Stefan Meller was Jewish. Why would a 'true patriot' like Jaroslaw Kaczynski have tolerated him if he wasn't a patriot? Then there is foreign policy advisor Adam Rotfeld, the Smolar brothers, and several other great Polish Jewish minds who have admirably served the Polish cause for a generation.

first of all I am not making assumptions that all Jews everywhere are bent on promoting only their tribe, there were and are Jews who are good Polish patriots or just treat every nationality equal - if Mr Meller was one - how do I know? maybe he was - Jarosław Kaczyński made a couple of blunders with his pick of co-workers most significantly in the case of Mr Janusz Kaczmarek

I don't find the likes of Aleksander Smolar working for the highest good of Poland

btw if Adam Michnik wants to defend me from accusations of anti-semitism it's his choice - I don't mind being called an anti-semite as long as noone throws stones at me

You'll find that's Gummi's specialty: he tells a lie and then when confronted with sources which expose his lie, he claims the sources are all lying. It's rather pathetic really.

" That's bullshit. Michnik has risked his own career to defend Poland's good name against false accusations of Anti-Semitism."

btw in what way did he risk his career??? - is (was) Michniks career dependant on some French trotskyists?? - was defending Poles really risking the fate of his newspaper in Poland?? ( I would think defending the name of Poland would rather gain him favour within the country and how could possibly some cosmopolitan leftists threaten Gazeta Wyborcza sales and profit)

@gumishi

That was my comment, not Harry's, so pick on me, not on him.

As editor of GW, Michnik (i) made a full-frontal attack against Le Monde, and (ii) attacked the abusive accusation of anti-Semitism by Jews against Poles. If you know anything about the media you will know that both were considerable risks he took, in the name of Poland, Wajda and Katyn.

Thanks anyway for clarifying that you don't think all Polish Jews are unable to be Polish patriots.

You need to understand journalism a bit more, that's all, and I'm sorry but I dont have the time to write you an essay on the media, which I've worked in for my entire professional career. In short, editors tend not to make such huge public attacks , because it alienates people. For example presumably Michnik hates Rydzyk but he doesn't bother to say it very much.

It is conspicuous that Michnik made this extremely bold attack on the French Left in the name of Poland, and against a false and anti-Polish charge of anti-Semitism. That is clear evidence that he is a Polish patriot first, before he is a liberal and a Jew.

and I could find quite different explanation to what Michnik did - like for example improving his title's reputation at home in the times when sales where rapidly dropping

if your explanation of how possibly could Gazeta Wyborcza or Michnik himself get hurt by confronting a French newspaper then the explanation must be a way to explain things away - or perhaps there is something inherently wrong with Poland when the main national newspaper can be threatened by some foreign title? or maybe there is something inherently wrong in the way the media work

You need to understand journalism a bit more

what is so mysteriously particular in how journalism works? isn't journalism about reporting things to the public? isn't journalism about finding out and showing the public the truth???

That is clear evidence that he is a Polish patriot first

The clear evidence lies first and foremost with his prison record.

How many days in jail did Jaroslaw Kaczynski serve, and how many were avoided through the timely intervention of daddy?

Strange that opposition journalists were getting locked up left/right/centre, yet he was never, ever jailed. Odd, really.

wow a jew with a career in media? shocking...

this goes back to the sejm when a unanimous vote was needed to pass order

people were judged by land ownership and royalty and you could practice devil worship for all anyone cared

it is historic fact that neighboring countries would send diplomats to throw votes and keep progress and efficiency on lockdown

Although I'd like to say that it's because we actually help people here but sadly that doesn't have any effect one way or the other.

The reason that we are still here would probably have something to do with knowing the rules and keeping to them. You should probably read them again yourself, pay particular attention to rule number 2 and rule number 8: your post shows no knowledge of either rule.

What did he risk , what cereer ( given by fellow Jews ). What a moronic opinion .

Michnik runs very anti-Polish and full of nonsense newspaper . There are few people in Poland who don`t know this fact.
