SzwedwPolsce 11 | 1589 18 Jul 2010 / #2There are many Vietnamese people living in Warszawa. Chinese I don't know.
sobieski 106 | 2111 18 Jul 2010 / #5The weird thing is that there are supposed to live a swarm of Vietnamese in Poland (especially here in Warsaw) but I never see any of them.Except in all these Vietnamse bars and to be honest - when I am standing in a traffic jam and some big BMW/Mercedes is passing by the drivers are always Oriental. There is also a town near Warsaw called Wola Kosowska where all the Vietnamese & Chinese are doing their cheap product business (as in Maximus in Nadarzyn)
Harry 18 Jul 2010 / #6The weird thing is that there are supposed to live a swarm of Vietnamese in Poland (especially here in Warsaw) but I never see any of them.Go to the Zelazna Brama blocks, lots of Vietnamese there. In fact white faces are sometimes in the minority at Asia Tasty (the best Vietnamese food in the area).
Seanus 15 | 19668 18 Jul 2010 / #7To reiterate what has already been said, there are many Vietnamese but not Chinese. There are a few Japanese here too due to international business.
Polonius3 980 | 12276 24 Jul 2010 / #9Can the average Pole distinguish between a Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese or Korean?Reminds me of an old joke from when HongKong was part of the British Commonwealth.Police were questioning the Chinamen whose business had been held up by two men. Asked to describe them, he replied: 'Me no know. All Englishmen look alike!'
Seanus 15 | 19668 24 Jul 2010 / #10The question is 'does the average Pole even want to distinguish them?'. In my experience, they are happy to just bunch them all as 'kitajcy'.
wildrover 98 | 4431 25 Jul 2010 / #12I have never seen any Chinese people living in Poland...but then i live out in the countryside.....they i suspect live in the cities...

I CAN'T SEE THEM?!Try contacting the Chineses Embassy on ul Bonifraterska, also behind Blue city there is a enclosed village and as you enter on the left hand side you can find many of the houses used by the bigger chinese companies as offices.

jon357 73 | 22641 16 Jan 2018 / #29There are Chinese people working in Poland in IT - I know one. Most people in this situation are mid-level or senior people working for Chinese companies, or for Polish companies that have a local partner in Poland. Electronics and Telecoms are the relevant sectors. There are also plenty of Chinese-owned import companies around the major cities.Praca.pl is a large Polish recruitment portal (however as usual, their advertisers prefer to receive applications from people already in-country). One thing you might try is a recruitment portal in China which may have vacancies in Poland for Chinese companies. I wonder if there is a forum for Chinese people in Poland? If so, that could be a good place to ask.
