Apartment Painting in Poland

I am returning to Krakow in September and would like my apartment painted before I arrive. I want to have it painted the same color. I was told to send a paint number but don't know if the numbers match world wide. Who are the major paint makers in Poland. In US there's Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams. Any hints appreciated. Thanks

Check in the major DIY stores in Poland like Castorama, Leroy Merlin, OBI, etc. which brands they have in their offer.
From what I can see the most popular are: Dekoral, Śnieżka, Nobiles, Dulux, Beckers, Colours, however only the first three are typical Polish.

Architects that I used to do work for, nearly always specified Dulux for the excellent coverage that it gives. What you should be looking for is the "BS" (British Standards) number. This is different for every colour and shade ie: BS 16471 etc. Look up the Dulux site online and give your decorator the number of the paint you want. (as well as whether you want matt, vinyl, vinyl silk, eggshell etc)
