What does an american citizen need to do to live in Poland with his Polish citizen wife?

Well, to be honest, in a 'very broad sense' if you use the term 'Native English' as a literary term, there could be an argument to say that American English is still at a base level, as the core language hasn't fully *evolutionised as compared to British English.

* for the want of a better word

Still what does it matter... as long as we understand each other and can share a pint or two who cares :)

hi, I'm polish and married to an American,
and my husband is thinking about moving to Poland,
Here is my question :
which way is easiest : have a job offer while he is still in USA and come here for work visa or try to get a permit for living in Poland (I'm not sure about how it all calls , all these papers, permits.. ;) ) and then just go to this work? (or he still needs a work permit ? ) I was reading about it but I'm still confused and we're not sure with option is better.

Can anyone help ?

Interesting discussion though I'm not sure I'm understanding all of it. My wife will get her Polish citizenship soon. We are both retired in the US and collect Social Security (8500pln per month) and we have some investments. Our Social Security can be deposited directly into our Polish bank account. We will not be looking for enployment.

We already own an apartment in Krakow and on our next visit we plan to stay for one year and travel Europe.
Do I still need to obtain residency?

Yes. Most certainly.
