Is "Polish person - Atheist" an oxymoron?

I have been noticing lately that there have been lots of criticisms of the Catholic Church.

They say that many priests rape children, that they suck money away from the poor and towards Rome, they say it keeps people superstitious and ignorant.

As a Polish Patriot, in the Tradition of Adam Mickiewicz, I would say that atheism and anti-Catholic bigotry and persecution is a dangerous path to tread down. It ultimately leads to Bolshevism.

It wasn't too long ago, in historical terms, that atheists were burned on the stake for claiming anti-Catholic rhetoric and bigotry.

I am starting to think the only thing that can stop the tide of persecution against Catholics is another Inquisition.

The Inquisition, by the way, was never abolished.

I have friends at Radio Maryja and they agree with me.

there has been criticism since centuries

They say that many priests rape children

and that's a fact.

they say it keeps people superstitious and ignorant

sometimes, not always, some people don't let their religious belief interfere with logic.

As a Polish Patriot

I don't see how this fact is related to the subject.

It ultimately leads to Bolshevism.

hmm.. sweden denmark czech republic and other countries have a majority of atheism.
You can't say it led to bolshevism

I am starting to think the only thing that can stop the tide of persecution against Catholics is another Inquisition.

i'm starting to suspect that you're a troll

I have friends at Radio Maryja and they agree with me.

not surprised.. very intimidating

can you PROVE that priests rape children?

or are you just parroting MSM propaganda?

can you prove me that they didn't ?

i don't need to prove anything, there
has been countless evidence and stories،
it's like you're asking me to prove the holocaust, there are too many stories and too much evidence to deny it, but i guess you are the kind who believes in conspiracies against the church.

Though i don't believe that chrsitianity as a religion should be attacked when priests rape children.

Now since this is a polish forum , can our discussion be more oriented towards poland ?

dany, enough of your name-calling and hot-potato-trolling. You don't even have a Polish name.

Lets stay on topic, and that is, if a man calls himself a Pole, he most certainly should be a Catholic.

Wiccans and Muslims belong outside of Poland.

You don't even have a Polish name.

The irony is that even though i don't have a polish name , I am polish by jus sanguinis.

if a man calls himself a Pole, he most certainly should be a Catholic.

what about the orthodox what about the protestant , what about the jews.

"According to Poland's Constitution freedom of religion is ensured to everyone. It also allows for national and ethnic minorities to have the right to establish educational and cultural institutions, institutions designed to protect religious identity, as well as to participate in the resolution of matters connected with their cultural identity."

Wiccans

your terminology is outdated

Oh, I'm sorry if I mispelled Wiccan.

This thread obviously offended you.

I guess it offends you that some people have a proud identity and spiritual heritage and will not give in to Islamic demands in the age of multiculturalism and decadence.

You already stated you are not a Catholic, so why don't you just stay where you are? That is, outside of Poland?

We really don't need foreign influence, thanks very much.

They say that many priests rape children

People rape childrem.

The chance of a kindergarten teacher rape a kid is 13 times higher than a priest. But why nobody calls kindergarten teachers as rapist?

Also, remember: At least the Catholic Church condemns rape in its doctrine.

While another religion, (very protected nowadays by the same leftwing media that blame the Catholic Church for everything) that came from Middle East was founded by a prophet that married and slept with a 9 year old girl.

Levi proves my point. We need to keep the eternal flame of the inquisition alive in order to root out and purify our Catholic rank and file.

I don't like Vatican II weaklings.

No need to. Some certainly do and the church has admitted this, albeit grudgingly. As John Paul II said, "God may forgive them, I don't".

"According to Poland's Constitution freedom of religion is ensured to everyone

Spot on, Danny. People are free to follow any religion or none.

I am starting to think the only thing that can stop the tide of persecution against Catholics is another Inquisition.

And when people say that, even an internet troll like yourself, is it any wonder that more and more people are choosing none.

the Tradition of Adam Mickiewicz

Would that be the same Adam Mickiewicz who was a keen Freemason, or are you thinking of an obscure namesake?

I don't like Vatican II weaklings.

So you don't like John Paul II who was heavily involved with the Second Vatican Council and author of so many reforms? Or the current Pope Francis who is firmly in the tradition of Vatican II...

The current pope loves gays, atheists and muslims. He is not representative of the Catholic experience during the past 1000 years.

God loves everybody too but it doesn't mean He isn't going to hold the gays, atheists and fanatical Muslims accountable.

Yes he should be eliminated as they supposedly did to JP I and replaced with a Polish pope, but only one who's 'a Polish patriot, in the tradition of Adam Mickiewicz'. Are you volunteering to do the job??

Jon, you know that this troll is not me. You are a Admin of this forum so you can see both IPs. Actually it is much more probable that he is just you (we know that you loves to bash the catholic church).

Another point is that differently of the Troll, i like the current Pope. Probably the only argentinian that i like in this world.

Some of them are so crazy that they would. Fortunately if anyone is well protected by spiritual armour it's the Pope.

Some of these conservative Catholics (and others) always see it as an and/or either the person agrees with their point of view, or they're an atheist.

God loves everybody too but it doesn't mean He isn't going to hold the gays, atheists and fanatical Muslims accountable.

We'll take our chances thanks. Better to love one's neighbour and break other 'rules' than follow the rules pharisaically yet be full of hate.

Yes and you know the interesting thing about the whole love/hate thing is the number of people who link the two together. I love God and I love my country so that equals hating everything and everybody else. Now that's not just Catholics, some fundamentalist Christians are like that, some Muslims, Jews seem to be remarkably free of that on the whole, Yes, yes, I know people will mention Israel and the conflicts in the middle east but Jews on the whole don't seem to be as filled with hate for those who think differently to them. Perhaps it's because they don't seek converts in the way the others do. After all Christians and Muslims still actively seek to recruit new followers. Jews don't really seem to care about someone else's faith or lack of it.

You are living in a parallel universe.

Of that I have no doubt.

The current pope loves gays, atheists and muslims.

It's called Christianity.

I guess it offends you that some people have a proud identity and spiritual heritage and will not give in to Islamic demands in the age of multiculturalism and decadence.

hmm.. you can believe and be proud of whatever you want for all I care, as long as this belief doesn't negatively affects your behavior with others .

You already stated you are not a Catholic, so why don't you just stay where you are? That is, outside of Poland?

Firstly, I am in Poland.

Secondly, you are being unconstitutional, since you want to kick any non-catholic person out of poland, a true patriot respects the constitution of poland, I don't know how old you are, but if you were born in 68 it means that you don't have the chance to be around young people that often, most of the young people i've met in poland are either athiests, agnostics, believe in some superior power but don't believe in christianity or catholicism.

Even the person who shares your views is calling you a troll, so i don't know if I should waste my time on this thread, but i think it's good for the readers to understand the current situation in Poland.

I see a lot of talk here but not a lot of follow through.

The fact that God hates gays, atheists and muslims is written in scripture.

The fact that God loves Roman Catholics is written in our Sacred Tradition.

The Inquisition has been put into play before and it always seemed to do the trick.

I hate seeing atheists prance around, acting like their loony opinions matter, when in fact they don't.

It is time to rid Poland of the superstitious lot: atheists, muslims, and other perverts and go back to the one True Faith that brings happiness and prosperity for all, in this life and the next.

I would like to see the source of that

The fact that God loves Roman Catholics is written in our Sacred Tradition.

source.

and god loves muslims in the quran and he loves jews in the old testament

The Inquisition has been put into play before and it always seemed to do the trick.

I think you were born in the wrong century
.. such a thing won't be implemented even by christians themselves

acting like their loony opinions matter, when in fact they don't.

neither do yours .

It is time to rid Poland of the superstitious lot: atheists

the definition of superstition according to google : "excessively credulous belief in and reverence for the supernatural" , this fits roman catholics more than it fits atheists

in conclusion: I fear that you're gonna live a horrible life, since you will see the number of non believers rising, and you'll never "ever" see an inquisition, also jesus won't be coming anytime soon "if ever" .

-Lucifer sends his regards.

worldwide the number of Catholics is on the increase (driven mainly the expansion of south Americans and into USA).

It is in Europe and the middle eastthat their numbers are decreasing due to numerous factors but not least because of aggression and persecution by other religions and the ageing demographics of indigenous Europeans.

Actually the RC are losing members in those areas due to the activities of the Evangelical churches there .
