criminals too...blimey we are good :D

English policemen are very good, they have a reputation.
In my opinion Poles steal mostly other Poles, not foreigners but maybe I am mistaken.

We have plenty locked up. Also 15% of them are foreign nationals....So we catch other countries criminals too...blimey we are good :D

Do you think that Polish police duty is to catch criminals and protect law abiding citizen?
Nope, there are to maintain a balance and to curb any competition for criminals in charge, so ant criminals in prison pure accident.
Are you sure in your country is different ? If so, good for you:D

And another moronic idiot posting on it!!!

Actually 1jola I know we were arguing last night but this is a pretty inane topic. Yes some Polish people steal a lot.

I don't remember that we actually argued. There were some misunderstandings though. As to stealing, you better believe it, whatever the master thief Goering, Frank and all the lesser looters left behind was systematically stolen, and if not shipped east, was tucked away in all kinds of thieving ways. This continued till 1989, and then the cycle continued much to the detriment of this nation. No thieves were ever caught. So yes, some Poles are thieves and some steal a lot. I don't want to hog the discussion, so it can return to Poles stealing cinder blocks. I have to go now, do my patriotic duty, and dip my white ass in the Red Sea. :)

Polish women steal our hearts.
Poles may steal but they don't rob which is a good thing.

Hmmm, really? I'm yet to meet a person who did not take something it was not theirs to begin with. There is something about people who want stuff for free and if it is not guarded ..it's gone. Take a look at youtube, it's amazing what people will "steal' when not watched. It is a big difference between stealing and robbing.

try 50 years of communism rot on for size some day

This makes about as much sense as a 20 something year-old black person in america trying to blame slavery for why they are the way they are. Some people just have to make excuses.

If you are talking about toilet paper, it loses it's value the second it is used.

You can also sell used toilet paper but in this case customers are underpriviledged.
Nika  2 | 507

well, I think in this case the customers are out of their minds.

I'm talking about Bernanke and the inflation magic that he used when he magicked up a bunch of money. Kind of like the Zimbabweans did...

Isnt that the source of all money its essentially made from nothing.

Fiat money made out of trust of repayment, it's evil, that's another thread though. The only problem is when you have the same amount of trust, and start playing with the money supply... you make everything more expensive, which drives up the cost of everything and makes the dollar that you earned and saved last week worth less today.

Poland is poor now because Hitler robbed it all of its gold, and burnt the Jews that owned alot of things such as businesses.

and as gfor Poles going thieving in Western Europe and in Poland generally, it is because since the partitions of Poland where German powers, Austro-Hungary, russian empire robbed Poland alll the time, plus then again Jewish and German industrialist , Polish people over the centuries have gotten pissed off and learnt to rob, and steal, if they are in a Government job they are the top class Thieves, but then there is also ones who only finished elementary school so what do you expect.

It has much to do with History, the oprressed becomes angry and then because living in Poland in the last 300years have been quiet uncertain times, when you are not sure if it is worth working honestly for something, because people have it in their brains that next thing the political system might change or maybe a war , and they can lose it all...

its like say .... if an Economic Recession would happen every 10 years - I am sure people in any country would get sick of it all and end up living in apathy and stealing.

I got ripped off again at Polish construction supply center.

Kinda silly to ask if stealing has anything to do with ethnicity. There are thieves everywhere in every country. Be happy you're not in East Oakland, Calif. USA. That place will make your ladder thief look like an amateur!

Indeed, the better question to ask is why is it more prevalent here than in neighboring countries.

The oppressed you speak of died a long time ago. No one to my knowledge is even close to 300 years old in Poland. Poles were not the only people in the past to experience war. Modern day Poles need to give up this shtick.

It's weird, while I was living in london, the only people I heard Poles complain about in regards to stealing were other Poles and it wasn't an isolated thing. That being the case perhaps there was another reason for this. Maybe cultural sensitivity, maybe expecting more from their countrymen, maybe they just had more frequent contact with other Poles thus skewing the probability of theft in one direction...

This is another example of the abysmal lack of Christian ethics in Poland.

The prudent individual must factor this into one's day-to-day paradigm in order to maintain a psychological equilibrium (not to mention financial solvency) in this country.

Yeah, it must be the remaining 5% of non-Catholics that are committing all the theft, right? ;) ;) That'll be the great Polish defence :) Come on, sb step forward with that ;) ;)

Totally right Seanus. Good, catholic Poles don't steal and the bad ones either go abroad or steal in PL.
