Is there any particular foods that are served at a Polish funeral?

Hi all

At the moment I provide food for just English 'after funeral catering'.
I would like to start catering for Polish funerals too. Is this something that the Polish community would require? If so, is there any particual foods that are served at a Polish funeral?

Traditional Polish dishes are the best: red borsch with pieroglings, chicken soup with maccaroni, fried pork chop or fried chicken breast with mashed potatoes or chips, Silesian dumplings with mushroom sauce.

Nothing exotic.

It might help if you could spell your country correct and your website address.

On another note, my wife says that her or her family would not get people in to cater, It is a personal event that family rally around.

I have catered for many funerals. Sometimes the families do not have the time or facilities to prepare food.
