New to Warsaw - Looking for Gigs, Local Live Music, Festivals etc!

Hi! I've recently moved to Warsaw from the UK, and I'm looking for gig venues in the city! I've noticed there are quite a few well-known bands playing soon, but I'd like to see some more local bands, preferably rock or metal, but anything really!

Are there any cool less well-known places that have smaller gigs?

i can't help with venues, but you should find some mini festivals, one day events, around May 1st.

check: lastfm.

google for gigs in warsaw...most venues have a map link and you can check the bands at wikipedia.

check some of the music threads here for thoughts on Polish bands.

from what I can gather there are also blues jam sessions in Piwnica pod Harendą on tuesdays at 8 p.m - harenda.pl/en/

Merged: Folk Music Live:- Warsaw

Anyone know of any folk music venues in Warsaw. I will be there on the 2nd and 3rd of December 2016. Alternatively any folk bands which might be playing in Warsaw this weekend.
