What about Lublin? My friend is from there, he has some pretty nice things to say about it. Of course another friend says that Warsaw is the best city in the world, but he doesn't need to pay the rent there so...
Moving To Krakow May (a place to live and work?)
What about Lublin
Well one reason is i have never been. It's a big move as i'm doing it on my own so i'm choosing somewhere that i've been before and somewhere i think i'll be happy to stay
Krakow is considered the nicest city in Poland, lots of culture events the largest and best university in Poland the city with the lowest average population age, it is less expensive than Warsaw it is the second largest city in Poland it is the most visited city in Poland, it is English friendly ( many signs and info are in English ) many people from different nationalities which makes local people more open minded and used to foreigners. it is a city where many multinationals have decided to invest.
It is kept very well despite the number of people living and visiting the city , it is not very busy considering the size, there is a beautiful countryside surrounding the city, and it close to the mountains for skiing !!!
the riverside is absolutely nice and calm perfect for a walk or a ride, the nicest young ladies in Poland ( at least according to polish people )
I could carry on ....
Forgot there is the best weather in Poland !!!! which is a huge plus !!!

Yes I also heard that Lublin was nice but Krakow is just unique.
Depends what you intend to do ,Lublin is smaller .

warsaw is a hole. If given a choice I wouldn't live here but unfortunately my husband's work dictates where we live. If given a choice I would live in tri city. Fresh sea air, laid back vibe- that is more my style.
I would live in tri city
I have also thought about there but i think Krakow will have more opportunities for me and it is a really nice city :-)

A job as what?

How good are your speaking skills in Polish?
And how does someone qualify as a sales person?
Krakow is the most polluted (geography + heating with coal) place in all Europe (2nd is Sofia and 3rd is Katowice) and is very provincial. Krakow should not be limited to Stare Miasto. As used to very big cities, Warsaw is a big village for me so Krakow is a small village. "Provincial" includes of course provincial mentality.

I am very biased......but has anyone considered Rzeszow? I find it a very relaxing place, not ugly at all and with a lovely statue (locally know by the young as 'The pussy') I always say that if I lived in Rzeszow and not some kms from it, I would hardly ever use my car......the bike lanes and paths to get to every part are really good. But on second thoughts, shopping here is great, no queues for anything, no crowds, relaxing uncrowded cafe's (still can't get used to blokes sat outside cafe's drinking beer at 0800hrs though?.....I don,t want an influx of loads of people, lets keep Rzeszow like it is! (apparently it is now a hell on earth during the weekdays to drive in Rz.....they just introduced bus lanes!!!!! many many many of them!! locals complaining like hell!!!

Answer is up to you. No one can tell you. You don't speak Polish. There are harsh winters.

Kraków has loads going for it, lots of corporations making a job easy to find, a good standard of living and cultural life is 2nd only to Warsaw.
Great places to live here, i'd recommend in this order:
1. Podgórze - cheap, handsome tenements, on the up, close to Kazimerz, great transport links
2. Kazmierz - a bit more expensive than Podgórze but also with great transport links and closer to old town
3. Grzegorzecka area - very close to Kazmierz and Town and also handy for transport with great tram links
4. Bronowice of Krowodrza - nice places if your job takes you out that way.
