Polish men mostly have short hair, why?

I notice that Polish boys mostly have very short hair, I just wonder why?

Maybe they don't want to look how they perceive feminine to be?

Most Polish men I have seen are bald!!

easy , Poles are criminals , and if they have the hair shaved , they will make sure that they dont leave dna traces behind

They are not criminals but I think they should lenghten their nice blond hairs. Once somebody snatched my phone. Police showed me 8 people all of them had very short hair. Then I started to wonder why everybody having short hair.

Longer hair is getting more and more popular.

It's a big difference compared to a few years ago.

They save on shampoo costs. They are forced to buy conditioner for their girlfriends so they have to save in other ways ;)

Depends where you're looking I guess. Most of the Polish men I know have long hair.

All the members of Vader have long hair...Behemoth...Nomad...most of Blindead...I could go on...(these are metal bands by the way)

Go into Grafitti or Ragnarock in Lublin, or Klub Studio in Krakow on a metal night, you'll find a sea of hair :)

there is nothing worse than man with long (>5cm) hair- especially when they try to have a 'mhroczny' look ;P

Well, I travel for a living and am yet to visit a country where most guys have long hair. Are you aware of such a place? ;)

Slavs go bald a lot earlier than other europeans. I have seen 20-ish year old slavs with receeding hairlines!

...and I just got back from China and Japan and saw the very same patern, pun intended, over there. Just like in Alaska and Hawai'i, Sweden, UK, etc, etc.

Nah, there's no "regional" balding pattern - some guys keep the hair and others don't. I've been lucky so far and hope I'll have hair on my head when I grow old. :) But if I don't I'll be just fine.

actually Polish men get bald pretty fast and it's common...
all Asians i've met had beautiful, thick, slick hair... lovely...

Sorry, I don't buy the early onset Slavic Baldness Syndrome just like I don't believe in the Slavic early onset Hanging Boobies Syndrome among the ladies. Some do and some don't. Vive la différence!

Some Polish girls seem to lose hair faster too than Dutch girls. I've seen a lot of Polish girls who had very thin hair already for their ages. (Maybe you guys and girls need more Dutch genes in the pool?)

Personally I wouldn't mind growing my hair pretty long but I got rules to follow. It was pretty long in the mid 80s when I lived in Sweden... Good 'ole days. :)

Conservatives have short hair revolutionaires leftists have mostly long hair,most polish seem to believe in right wing values.Also soldier like appearance is valued in Slavic world and they seem more intimidating with short hair since their thick necks are in view.

It has the origin from the German occupation (Prussian and pre Nazi German mind you)
Where Prussians and Germans considered their ancestors to be huge big Germanians from early Germania which Romans fought against, they had much hair beard etc. Poles through that occupation wanted to distinct themselves from that. It stayed.

I haven't noticed any difference between Polish and any other European country/Canadian/American - basically, if they're into rock/metal music, they tend to have long hair ...if they're not they don't!

Of course, just as in England, regardless of music taste some guys shave their heads when they start to recede too much or if their jobs don't allow it.

Why, I used to have somewhat long hair. sometimes to the half of my back. Untill I started to turn gray, that is. Then I shaved bald the damn thing. I keep it that way up to today...

If you like the Polish short hair look , but live in the UK in an area where there are no Polish guys , then i reccomend you try a gay disco...The guys in there look exactly the same...!

Depends on the face/hairstyle, though. Bands like Sepultura still manage to look manly even with long hair, lol :)

My hair was about 18" long when I was 15-21 years old, and I have NEVER had so much female attention since! :(

Mind you, I did meet someone eight months after that nerve-racking haircut, and we stayed together for nearly 10 years, so maybe short hair isn't so bad after all, haha :D
