"Londynczycy" - new Polish soap

I just have started watching this show and wondering if the life really look like that in England:) guess not lol

they should make kanadyjczycy movie lol

I'm really enjoying it. It's a good drama that happens to be set in England. It's more about how awful Poles are to each other, although the many of the English characters are pretty unpleasant too. I'm half way through episode 3 and am still waiting for the happy bits; apart from Stanisław, the TV and the policeman.

Now I know what the film crews where I live in Ealing have been working on.

Happy, positive stuff with people all getting on really well and being nice to eachother does not make good drama.

The closest I can think of to an equivalent would have to be BBC's one-off sequel to "A Very Peculiar Practice", which was "A Very Polish Practice". Unfortunately, I can't remember anything about it other than that at least some of it was set in Poland and it had Peter Davison in it. Different kind of thing altogether really.

No they jast use of fellow countrymen poor stories.

Well for my partner who is polish and has been in uk for now 4yrs, she says that it is a little like a fictional show but still is a good one to watch!!!!! All enjoy!!!!!!!!

Of course it's a fictional show, it's a soap opera, not a documentary. ;) I sometimes watch it. It's entertaining...

I had no problems watching on there but you cant download it from the website, but i can watch over and over again as i have it on DVD :P

when I try to watch it, the website says i need to purchase an access code. it is letting me download, whether it will let me watch what i have downloaded is another matter.

quick question... I have bought Londynczycy DVD part 1 and 2... is part 3 not available yet? i bought the DVD last Summer (2009) in Poland... Does any one know when part 3 will come out?

Series One came as a Part one Part two box set piece which was episodes 1-13
Series Two was 16 episodes long will probably be the same but there is no Part three to be released
not sure if a Series three in the pipeline yet?
