I need help in finding the conversion for Polish size 38 jeans to U.S. size. Maybe size 10? However there is no size 10 in U.S. "Juniors" sizes; only size 9 or 11. This gift is for a young woman (approx. age 26) not a misses size. Also do young women wear low cut jeans in Poland? Is straight leg popular or the new skinny leg jeans?

I just checked google for a conversion tool, don't know how accurate it is:

Thank You very much for helping. I appreciated your help in trying. It doesn't give Junior size conversions. Does confirm a 38 is size 10 in the U.K. but no Poland. Does say it a U.S. size 6????? There is no size 6 in Juniors. So, that's women's size? in U.K.?
Back to square one.
Back to square one.
It seems to be 8 in 'Misses' and 11 in 'Junior' size .

It depends how low cut ;). If you mean 'biodrówki' like this - yes.
Both are ok, straight leg is more universal, not all women like skinny leg jeans.

I will buy Junior's size 11, Levi's low cut, straight leg jeans. I wish someone in Poland on this post actually wore that size to be positive. It would be very sad to send jeans to Poland and they are wrong size. :( Levi's makes them in a "tilted" cut to add to the confusion. They are lower in the front than in the back. I have no choice, only other is "full cut" or "too super low".
Thank you kindly for all the help. I have another week before I send these, should anyone find more information.

Poland doesn't have its own sizes. Clothing in poland is in uk/german/french sizes.
I'm a US size 8 and wear an EU size 40. I think if she's wearing a 38, she can get away with a 6 or junior's 9 n Levis.
I have never understood womens sizes. I'm aware I'm a man, but still. Women have a different size chart from men, which is why I don't understand it. So if a woman were to tell me her size, I'd have no clue. Men's pants are in U.S. inches.
Just remember; all women believe their size is 'small'. Hope that helps...

Not according to the sizing / measurements we use in the UK.
USA UK France = (rest of Europe)
4 6 34
6 8 36
8 10 38
10 12 40
12 14 42
14 16 44
16 18 46
My advice would be a low slung boot cut.

Trust me, I'm wearing size 8 levi's right now. The USA has come accustomed to "Vanity sizing" and a size 8 in women's is really a 10.

These are US/canadian sizes used for tops: t-shirts, sweaters, jackets etc. - sometimes even pants (but not jeans).

I work at Levi's and she would wear a size 11. You add one to the normal size. If she wears a 10 then she is an 11 in juniors. The odd number sizes are for junior fits so to convert the size you add one to the regular size.

You have a point. Here's a size zero for example... ;)
