Wow that's excellent.
It is unsettling.
Fantastic!
After someone said that he sees the guy as trying to rescue the girl, pull her into his world, I was not as creeped out as I was at first.

I'm afraid I saw initially something a tad more organic shall we say.
me too, but her as an empty, practically disemboweled vessel...
I needed a better story.
Ha!
And to think that I used to seek out and relish disturbing art!

Be careful what ou wish for right? lol
That's what having kids does to you. Considering questions like: "mommy, why did he pop off her head?!?"

It just looks too weird to be on the side of a building. Would be fine in an art museum. It reminds me of something Dali would paint. Sort of. That little yellow guy is creepy. Maybe he's some kind of pervert in the painting and that's why he looks so freaky?
what do you see?
I'm not quiet sure what exactly I do see, but it reminds me a bit of Blu's work.

Or maybe I just get this impression because they are all painted on houses :D

For those who like street art, more from Łódż:
Shida mural
City of Łódż mural by Meisel i Bary
Łódż Hall of Fame mural by Krzystof Jaśkiewicz
I like murals when they are on blocks from communist times which are all the same and boring to death. But when I see them on tenement houses which once used to be elegant, I suspect they were painted to cover the lack of renovation. And I am usually right - the house looks drab, almost crumbling, and the mural is to divert people`s attention from the fact.
Kora's mural is great. It 'changes her head dress depending on the season.
Aaah, first I didn`t know what you mean but now I suppose you are talking about the tree in front of the mural?
@pawian
Yeah. I realised it was about Łódź murals after I had posted.

It's a great mural, I had to google it as I had never heard of it. Maybe there should be a Polish street art thread. I had thought of starting one, but not sure if people would really be that interested tbh.
The question is not if but how many. If you hope for hundreds or thousands taking part, you might get disappointed. However, if a dozen are enough to you, why not try. :):)

Let's face it, there aren't much more than a dozen or so regular posters anyway. I doubt I will bother starting a new thread now. My last one was trashed with impunity, and I don't want to hear any more bullsh!t excuses.
My last one was trashed with impunity,
Coz it was a controvercial topic which raised emotions high. :)): Street art thread will be neutral.
