Internet (in excess of 100GB pm) without contract in Gdansk?

Dear all,

We are new to Poland and living in Gdansk. Since our usage of internet is quiet heavy (in excess of 100GB pm), we have found out the hard way that LTE from Plus (which the landlord helped procure) would not suffice - within less than 2 weeks, Plus has already reduced our internet speed to slightly less than 0.5MB/s, which renders it almost useless. Unbeknownst to us, the apartment we rented is without fiber optic cables and not served by ISP's including Netia and UPC. We have scoured the internet for options but found none. Our situation is further complicated by the fact that we have only a limited visa of 1 year and would not be able to sign up for services requiring a long-term contract.

Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

And what about contract for an indefinite period? for example if you know you would be in Gdansk for three months, you'll pay just for the 3 months (with one month's notice --> so 2 months contract + the 1 month notice period)

Then you have quite good internet, without any data limits - check their offer:
wave.com.pl/oferta/internet

For example 40gb download, 4gb upload 85pln/month (and one-time installation fee - 50pln)
According to their regulations, guaranteed speed is 1/4 of the contract max - so 10/1 in this case.

Thanks, Looker! Would this be the only one we could consider? I searched on the internet but didn't find any feedback, whether good or bad, about them. In any case, I have just written in via their site to find out more.

Another possibility is internet in UPC. They currently have options without any contract. But you must be in their network - check availability for your address, and the details offer here:

Thank you again, Looker! We already checked UPC but they do not serve my block, unfortunately.
