I am Dutch and I love all kinds of music....But of all the 10.000+ songs I listen to, I have to say that "Kordian" with "Daj Daj Kochana" is the best song :)
Of course I have to use Google Translate to understand the song, but it is such happy music and it sounds so good that the language does not really matter any more.
I also listen to other Disco Polo songs. Some are really crappy, but some really are funny or happy.
The oldest song I could find that I like was "Skaner - Lato w Kołobrzegu", but I did not like much Disco Polo from that time. The only other song I liked from that time is "Mega Dance - Ewa Odeszła".
Of the newer songs I like a lot from After Party and Blamage (Clips with a lot of homour!!!) but Texas / Fejs also intrigue me because the songs are very well played and musical)
I think I like Kordian so much because of the instruments (a violin and a accordion). Does any one know any other bands that come close to Kordian stylewise?
Any other one from another country then Poland that likes Disco Polo?
