I spoke to my dentist in Lublin, She is amazing. 1 root canal and 6 white tops would cost around 800zl(£160) and could be done in two days. Around 5 hours total.

I'm English and i didn't look after my teeth and she sorted it all out. She speaks English too.

I'm thinking that Lublin might be cheaper than the North or North West of Poland.
Flights prob cost the same.

We have used a dentist in Krakow and its been good value so far although its not an extensive history.

If you could be so kind to share the details of this dentist, I'll pop by as well as I head over early next week. Thanks.

I have some business in the area so I can pop in.

UPDATE:

Ok, I'm sitting here grinning like a cheshire cat as I've just had my Root Canal surgery done in Krakow efficiently and cost-effectively.

First of all, props to Peterweg for supplying the contact details of Dent America above but they are now known as Astra Dent.

If you call like I did, you should catch someone that speaks English.

I popped in on Monday morning quite early and jibby-jabbered about my London Dentist identifying a tooth requiring root canal surgery which could be guaranteed to be ok if I was referred to a specialist endodontist cost circa 750 GBP.

Astra Dent's dentist (the very competent Dr Renata Gasiorowska) tut-tutted when I said I only had two days left in Krakow but within 10 minutes, I was X-rayed and she rolled up her sleeves metaphorically - "let's do this". I won't bore you with the details of the procedure which required a second visit on Tuesday but I sure got value for little money as the tooth is perfect now. I paid 670 zloty in all which translates to about 126 GBP in todays forex rate - a big saving from what I would have paid in London.

And to top it all, what better way to undergo dental surgery than to be looking out an open window to the beautiful fountains in Plac Szczepanski.

Highly recommended and once again I'm grateful to this forum.

Root canal treatment microscope - 700 - 900zł
dental crown - 1000 - 1800zł (cer-metal or fullceramic)

also depends how bad tooth looks, not every tooth is worth to be treated,

170 - 270 zł for one tooth from one to three surfaces MOD

My tooth was 450-550 although I was told by 2 stomatologists that it was dificult procedure (my roots are not typically shaped).

I will be direct to the point if you are still thinking where to go for your dental needs. I will recommend this site:

PlacidWay.com

I already had dental implants abroad with the help of this site. You can ask for free quote and they will give you the information you need as well as the price.

this is smth you can be sure of if you only get to the clinic which is focused on international patient - to be treated priority. Usually foreign patients make more complicated treatments which are more expensive, but they need to complete the treatment in certain period of time in order to keep it all cost effective. Polish clinics become aware of that.

If you will be in Wrocław I can suggest you HealthTravel.pl Clinic - I'm Polish but living abroad for some time. I'm getting back for dental check up and have met these people two years ago - already recommended this place to my girlfriend's parents who did a bigger work there.

...and it's in Wrocław

Hi guys,

I just read your posts about dental work. Check out dentaldepartures.com
They have over 3000 recommended clinics in 30 different countries. You can just click in location and the all the clinics in that area come up. You can check out the prices on each clinic page as well as read reviews, see photos, promotions & staff etc.

You can email them for a quote or ask questions on a live chat site or there is a phone number that you can call. They will also schedule your appointment for you and then if you had any problems after your dental treatment then they will also advocate for you.

They are really helpful and make finding a quality dentist stress free.
