Why? I think Wielki Polak`s contribution here is OK. He only dares to disagree with other foreigners who agree with Avalon. That`s why he should get off?
That`s unfair.
(When you talk to a lawyer, he/she tells you its a WASTE OF TIME} why do I have to pay (in time and money) for people who have no idea what they are doing?.
Untill Tusk, and whatever stupid government in Poland, realises, what a hell it is to, actually do business here, it will always be a backward country.
Avalon, I have read your post again.
I think I wrongly accused you of lying. I am sorry. You could have gotten such perception during your stay in Poland, indeed.
But I will say it again then: it is a Polish style of life.
Why?
Poles are quite messy and forgetful on everyday basis. It is our national character. I myself am such - I often forget to check mailbox, take some books to school, phone somebody, bring the printed tests on the appointed day, etc etc. I forget to buy things that my wife asks me to, and she usually forgets to do what I want her to do. :):):):)
And there are millions of people like that in Poland. :):):):)
Now, do you imagine holding everybody responsible for their petty mistakes? Do you imagine what further mess it would create? Who should take the erroneous to court if nobody is perfect and himself/herself can be taken by others?
Isn`t it clear now why proving someone`s irresponsibility is bad manners in Poland and provokes surprise and shock?
That is why I got a little irritated by your OP. It seemed to me like an attempt of trying to convert a rhino into an elephant overnight, while the process will have to take lightyears. :):):):)
Pushing and pressing will not do any good.
