I am American married to my Polish husband for 11 years and have lived here in Poland for 9 years. We are planning to stay here and I am considering getting my Polish citizenship and having dual passports.
So for those who have done it, what did it change for you? Did it make things easier?
Anne Applebaum is a Pulitzer prize winner American journalist, married to Poland's secretary of state Radek Sikorski - she's kind of small scale American celebrity in Poland and she said something very similar to what you did say in your first post. Anyway she did get polish citizenship already (checked) . Pardon for any confusion ...thought she finally did pay a visit to the fPF
glad I made you laugh. ...hope someone would answer your question.....all I know, with polish citizenship you'd be able to vote and be elected to parliament, sure something to consider :)
