Ok, here is the story.

My wife has a few debts in her name, and wants me to sign a pre-nup. What are the implications of me signing this? Im english she is polish?

It really depends what kind of "pre-nup" (called "intercyza" in Polish) it is going to be. Such agreements are signed in order to modify standard property regime which normally would apply by law to married couples in Poland and would provide for joint ownership of (almost) any property (and joint liability for majority of debts) acquired during marriage. This regime may be modified in various ways. It is a bit complicated and you should really seek legal advice before signing anything but if she is in debt (and this debt probably grows due to an interest) then it is wise to keep separate all property affairs so you do not end with a liability for her debts. Let's say that she is in debt, you get married and then somebody tries to collect the debt from her share of your common property. If you have no common property then the debt may be collected only from her personal property. But as I said earlier, get proper legal advice before signing anything. The law in Poland is very different from the one in England and may sometimes be tricky.

I believe that she wants you to become responsible for paying her debts. She probably has no assets and if you have then they can come after you. Nice girl and a good start to a marriage...NOT.

WTF? You married a woman not a Pole.
Implication of what? Pre-nub is a legally binding agreement between husband and wife to be. What you'll put in there is up to you both.

You can agree that you'll pay her debts. You could agree that she is the one responsible for her debts.
You could agree that in the event of a divorce you'll pay her an able sum of monies or that she'll pay YOU an ample sum of money.

How the hell WE could possibly know???
Are you sure you're ready for a marriage?

Maybe you should speak to a lawyer dealing with family law. This is a law firm that assisted my husband when he was having issues with his first wife: en.eslzlegal.com/

Yeah, talk to a lawyer, not a group of anonymous internet people. It's too serious to mess up.
