Hi, I have recently come to Poland to study and I came on a visa. My visa expires on the 19th of this month. One month after I came the dorm manager filled out a temporary residence card form for me (they do it the first time). However, that card is only valid till the 20th of this month. I would like to know if there is any way I can renew either the visa of that temporary residence card for a period longer than 3 months. Also I would prefer if someone could give me offices in Gdansk rather than in Warsaw.
there's this guy scottie1113 here - he's a teacher GdaĆsk and should be familiar with immigration issues - try to contact him through the Personal Message feature in the forums
Merged: Can I enter in Poland as a tourist just after my student visa expires?
Allright here is the question. I am a non-EU citizen. My student visa expires soon. I have a special passport which gives me a right to enter Poland for 90 days as a tourist. When my visa expires and if I go to Ukraine for a short while then can I enter to Poland as a tourist? Would I have any problem at passport control in Poland? I want to spend my summer in Poland
You don't need to go - your 90 days start on the day after the expiry of your visa. The visa will act as a "start" stamp for the tourist visa in this case.
Are you sure? I am a turkısh cıtızen. A lot of tımes I heard that I must leave Poland and schengen, after my long tıme student vısa expıres and then come back as a tourıst.
On Polish radio I heard about a new rule regarding temporary visa for foreigners?
I think it's the new rule regarding temporary visa. Because my Polish is not fluent, I could not really understand everything. Is there anyone here who knows about it?
