Hi, guys

I am a professional translator (obcokrajowiec) and I have quite many Polish clients. At the same time when I am paid to my account in my country I need to pay quite big taxes.

I would like to ask about the following:

1. If I establish Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością in Poland (being a foreigner) - what will be the taxes?

2. Is that true that in this case I will obtain "karta stalego pobytu" ?

3. If there are two founders - will both obtain the same?

4. Apart from 50 000 zlotych kapitału zakładowego - what will be additional expenses?

5. Said 50 000 zlotych - where and how they are deposited?

The spolka zoo you can open with 5000zl already as kapital... and if I'm not wrong, you can also put a car, let's say, as part of the company and it will be counting as your kapital as well.

Hello,

Yes,I agree with the previous speeker - its true you can open LLd company with 5000 PLN (1250 EUR). Also you can be a shareholder and no residence card is needed. you can provide in Poland with translation services. Always you pay 19 % corporate Income Tax. Please be aware that some cost are non-taxable in Poland and accountancy and tax books are generally different.

The process of establishing a new company its little complicated, not only for foreigners but also for Polish :-) So, please check carefully websites and find maybe new company to buy. Often it is cheaper than establising by yourself. But be aware , the prices are very often very different. From my experience, you can buy the company (with 5000 PLN) - completely ready to "use" and act for 1900 EUR and the for 3500 EUR and also, when you have less luckiness , 5000 EUR. After buing it you are obliged to do some changes in the Court. So additional cost: a.300 EUR.

Good luck in doing business in Poland.

You'll still owe taxes to the country that you're resident in. Living in Poland won't change a damn thing.

No, you won't get a permanent stay card. You'll be able to get a temporary residence card for 1 or 2 years, but that's it.

sp. z o.o. - spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością (literally, "company with limited liability"), I believe.
