You cannot apply for a work permit, only an employer can apply.

thanks harry,
but every place i apply wants me to have work permit if i want to work there.

how can i have work permit then, if they will not provide this for me?

They are most probably asking if you have permission to work in Poland, not whether you have a work permit. Work permits are limited to a specific employer and to a specific job at that employer.

You can't. And there is no such thing as a general work permit.

is it possible?

No. All you can do is put yourself into a category of people who have permission to work in Poland, i.e. citizens of EU member states and the spouses of Poles.
