Am I supposed to get notice in USA if I have an arrest warrant in Poland?

Apparently, I have an ex in Poland who lied about me raping her. I should have not decided to travel with my ex. We did not even have sex and she says this.

Anyways, am I suppose to get notice here in USA if I have an arrest warrant in Poland? I did not get my passport stamp in Poland. Instead, I got the stamp in Germany. I asked the uncle of my friend in Germany and he said I'm suppose to get notice if it was in Germany. Would it be the same in Poland? If not, does anyone here know any lawyer I can talk to find out about the status of my passport and a lawyer so I can sue my ex for slander?

You shouldnt get any problems until Poland issues a international warrant and requests USA to exterdite you.To make no problems in future I would fight the case with a good lawyer as rape is a serious charge and usually very few people get convicted without and evidence. And among couple law enforcement friends I have usually is a disgruntled lover who charges that but they have to investigate.i would never take a risk from running away from that kind of charge and fight it vigoursly.Hire a good lawyer and tell them to represent you in Poland and get cleared as it can haunt you even after 25 years as that crime also in Poland probably dont have statute of limitations.

I actually plan to go back in Poland. Would that also be a problem?

Bro if you have been accused of rape and probably a warrant out for you,if you didnt respond..what do you think the court thinks? If you do plan to go back to Poland better respond to the charge immediately and defend yourself.

Almost impossible to do unless unfortunately it's been proven beyond any doubt that she'd lied. That generally means her having admitted she'd lied and been already prosecuted for attempting to pervert the cause of justice. Also it isn't slander for her to report something to the police or a therapist - even if that report is pure fiction. This happens far more often than you'd think.

Instead, I got the stamp in Germany

If there was a European Arrest Warrant, (Poland very much overuses those) you would have been arrested already in Germany. Those warrants can only be issued if there are already criminal charges by a prosecutor (not just a complaint or an investigation).

Poland probably dont have statute of limitations.

Poland has a statute of limitations and also a reasonably high burden of proof - it isn't just one person's word against another as it is in many English-speaking countries.

I actually plan to go back in Poland. Would that also be a problem?

You need to find out if charges have actually been filed by a prosecutor - your country's embassy in Warsaw is probably a good point of contact.

Thanks, I'm trying to contact a lawyer in Poland. If I don't get a response, I'm calling the embassy
