Hi Guys;
i have a very complicated situation i am an Egyptian guy came to Poland on 2009 was working for 4 years as an English Teacher and i was renewing my visa yearly based on my work, in 2013 I married to a Polish girl therefore my status changed to have a spouse so i had a residency card for 2 years, now my card is about to be expired and i have some problems with my wife and i think it will lead us to divorce or at least separation. now i am married with my wife for 2 years now one year of them we went to the UK but her Mum was sick so we had to back to Poland my card will expire within a month i am already having very nice Job but its on the trial period and i ll have my permanent contract after the expiry date of my residency card, my question is as i am not sure what the situation will be with my wife can i still stay without renewing my card till we decide which action to take divorce or reunion coz iam not sure if the wife will accept to come with me to renew the papers as she seems to push me to beg her for help and at the end i belive she would say i wouldnt go with u anywhere (office) to renew my card am really confused and know also its very complicated but any advice will be highly appriciated.

To answer your question: I believe you are entitled to renew your residence permit one time only for a period of up to 3 years in the event of divorce, if you have a job or another solid reason to remain in Poland. After this expires, you have to apply for a new residence under terms & conditions not concerning spouses of Polish citizens. Furthermore, since you have been living and working in Poland for over 5 years, you might be entitled to permanent residence. It is worth asking about.

On the other hand, and preferably :) If you are in Warsaw or Krakow, I can guide you to therapists who might be able to help (marriage/couples counsellors). Our neighbor is married to a guy from Egypt. They are very happy together and they have an adorable kid.

Really thx and appriciate ur answer as i told u i was here first for 4 years and then took my wife to uk for a year and 3 months and we came back coz of her mothers being sick and i had to accept me living alone in Warsaw but since i started my work problems started with it coz of alcohol and i was trying and fighting against this since we got married but no hope.

again thx for answer and i am in trial period of my contract coz i just back here like 15 days ago but it was like fast collapse in the relation i think also to be fair its our both fault.

now i ll ask at my job if they could offer the permanent contract before the trial period end and we will take it from that point on may be i will back to uk again but the thing is i do like my current job and that's the dilemma

again thx ur answer really calm me down and keep the finger crossed
thx mate

if u paid any attention to the post u would never try to show how smart u r by those rhetorical questions i said i was working in Poland 4 years as an English teacher.

i also mentioned that after that i was in the UK for over a year and came back here last month and if u had a job, already u would know that the contracts are giving for 3 months perioed then renew.

hope ur questions are answered

I just wondered where you could have found such a job with "English" like this:

u would know that the contracts are giving for 3 months perioed then renew.
