Hello!
My father was born in Poland. He was an officer in the World War Two in the Polish army and then he joined the Soviet Army in 1941.
After the end of the World War Two he was sent to a labour camp in Siberia (Russia) and several years later he was freed and he became a citizen of USSR.
I was born in the USSR in 1948 (the town of Dubno, which was a part of the former Poland, annexed by Soviet Union in 1939).
My father spent the rest of his life in the USSR.
Now, can I apply for the citizenship of Poland, based on the fact that my father was a citizen of Poland?
Thanks in advance,
Leo
