Hey People, I got the EU permanent residence in Poland which is good news. One of the clear benefit is that I don't need any work-permit to find job in Poland.
You received permanent residence in Poland, not the EU. It does not allow you to live just anywhere in the EU as far as I know (it might make it easier, but I'm not sure about that).
The card also facilitates travelling in and out of Schengen (on those borders always show the card and passport together).
The benefts of Polish EU resident card in other countries?
What are some benefits of the EU resident card outside of Poland? I'm particularly interested in correlation with local immigration laws. For example, if a person with Poland issued EU residency card decided to permanently move to another EU country would it be easier/faster to get a local equivalent of karta pobytu?
