ok... Are you here in Poland or in Thailand?

If you want to marry here in Poland you might needed the following:

*birth certificate(translated in Polish
*single status of you and your future husband (Polish also)
*certification of legal capacity to contract marriage which you can get it in Thailand consulate/embassy here in Poland(if you are here also in Poland, this is like a proof that you can marry your fiancee & its little different from single status because your future husband's name is written in that papper unlike in single status)

*passport & copy
*passport size picture
*if you are also here in Poland you need also registration or permission to live in your fiancee house
*and visa (if in Poland also)
*and some little money for payment

If its possible in Thainland do it there... Because I dont know if there is Thai-Polish certified translator here... Coz they usually translate English to Polish. Or if you dont find anything... translate your documents in English and they can translate it here in english to polish.

Are you sure she wants to get married? After all it's not that difficult for her kid to get a polish passport. And why would that matter anyway?

I would think not that long it depends if the office have space to give you ceremony but other then that you should be able to do it.

For sure it is not but the time frame he is talking about might not be ideal for him.
In Warsaw you'll need to find an office that is not very busy.
September is quite a busy month for civil marriages but your partner can ask around to find an earlier date.
If she finds someone understanding I'm sure you can get married during your 2 week holiday.
All the best.

You can just get a Polish ID card for the child - no need for the passport.

no need for the passport.

I thought you need a passport when entering UK, after all they are not in Schengen area, or has that changed as well?

You can just get a Polish ID card for the child

Not without the permission of both parents (assuming the kid is under 13).

Hi all,

I presume this is the topic where I can post my question. Anyway, I am a Turkish man and have got a Ukrainian girlfriend. I know that I can have some rights if I marry a Polish girl in Poland (such as being able to have residence permit). What if I get married with my Ukrainian girlfriend under the Polish laws in Poland?? Do you guys think that I and my girlfriend might have some rights I mentioned above (residence permit matter)? Looking forward to hearing from any of you..

Best regards
