Married to a man from Poland, moved abroad - Polish citizenship?

pls a real good friend of mine really want to know, and we will appreciate an honest answer.

am married to a polish man for five years, and we both lived in swiss, we got marriage in poland. we moved to swiss after the marriage. and since then we lived swiss. but always visit poland. how possible is it to acquire polish passport or citizenship while living with my husband in swiss??

It's called Switzerland. Swiss is an adjective. You cannot obtain Polish citizenship not living in Poland, but perhaps you can obtain Swiss.

Just curious but it appears you dislike living in Switzerland. What don't you like about living in Switzerland? I mean Switzerland has to be one of the wealthiest European countries and Poland is one of the poorest.

I am from Brazil and I got marry with my polish wife on 04-07-2010 (Bochnia).

I am a computer programmer and in 2011 we decided move to Austria to work and collect money. Because of this moving to Austria I lost the Resident Permission in Poland and now I have it in Austria, but we plan in future come back to Poland.

I know that the "quality" of life is better in Austria, but we want have close family, so the choose is Poland.

My question is: - Do I have the possibility to apply for the Polish Citizen now? If yes, how? One, someone in Krakow told me about a way that I need send a letter to the President.

Now I check the relevant law (the Polish Citizenship Act of 2 April 2009), it's actually being married for three years and two years living in Poland holding either a settlement permit or a permanent residency permit or long-term EU residency.

I am seeking some advice please.

I am a British man married to a Polish woman (who has been in the UK for 10 years). We have a young child we plan to register in Poland.

I would like to have dual nationality as my wife and child will do, but as I understand it the only way to do this is for me to live in Poland for 2 years. We loe to spend time in Poland but are not able to live their continually for 2 years.

Is there any other likely way for me to get citizenship?

I am wondering if it is worth my registering myself somehow in Poland in case when the UK leaves the EU Poland offers nationality to the British registered in Poland. What do you think?
