How long does it take to process the confirmation of Poland's citizenship right now?

Witaj!

I have submitted a straightforward form for confirmation of citizenship with all of the necessary Polish documents directly to the Mazowiecki Urząd Wojewódzki in the middle of January. According to their website, "the decision is rendered within 1 month. If the case is highly complicated, not later than within 2 months". However, it has now been about 3.75 months, and they are still working on the application. They have not asked me for any additional documents or clarifications.

I know things don't always run on time, but I am wondering if anyone knows how long (on average) these applications actually take, these days.

Also, I assume that there is nothing I can do to expedite it?

Dzięki! :)

When I submitted my application for confirmation of my Polish citizenship it took over 6 months and they had all the documents at the start. Usually, they are very busy, plus nobody worked the first week in May so things get put behind. When it gets to 6 months give them a gentle prod asking what is happening with it. I would not worry before 6 months are up.

I do not know how about process the confirmation of Poland's citizenship but residence permit applications take over 6-8 months. So you will have to wait at least double it
