How long will it take for a Polish citizen to renew a Polish Passport in Poland? Can it be done in a month?

a month would be the maximum time. so less than a month, yes

At this time of the year it should be quicker. Usually backlogs appear just before summers.

Thank you for the replies. I called the consulate, and the gentleman told me 2-5 weeks.

Merged: Quickest way to update to Biometric Passport in Poland. Warsaw?

Hi Guys,

My wife and I will be relocating to canada (she is polish born) from Australia but staying in poland for a month on our way. We have just found out she will be unable to hacve her visa approved until she updates her passport to the new Biometric passport. I was wondering what is the quickest way to get this updated to a Biometric as they are tellign us 4-8 weeks which will be to long. Is their anywhere you would recommend to speed this up ie warsaw etc.

doing this in Warsaw is the fastest way.
