Hot dog in hot car in Poland - illegal to break glass?

eh?

It's a hot day and then You see a dog suffering in a parked car some where in Poland. Legal to smash the glass to help that dog?

Despite all the similar stories do not always end well. The same situation has happened in Warsaw, on Sunday someone saw a dog barking inside of the car, so he broke the window. The next day, he received a summons to the police station.

It can be!

I would if the dog would die because of the heat.

I'd do it without thinking, although I'd first make sure I had a way to secure the dog in the car.

Of course... and do a Laurel and Hardy on the car and rip it's lights and bumper off. And the courts should ban the person from keeping a dog for ten years.

My dog often goes in the clients' office with me. If the client isin't happy with that, I find other clients :)

Mine used to come to my office every day. About breaking the glass, I'm pretty sure you can't however unless the doggie was expiring I'd just phone the police and say there's a crime being committed. Or break the glass anyway and sod the consequences.

Maybe there aren't any. In his line of work there are excellent ones and bad ones with not much in between.

Me too. Does the concept of justification exist in Polish law? It does sometimes in English law but probably not to save a dog. Instead the person would just get a caution that doesn't count as a criminal record or they'd be bound over to keep the peace - much the same. The owner of the dog would be fined or even jailed.

Nah - more work than I can handle thanks Wulkan. But thanks for your concern. Plenty of dog lovers here in Tri-City :)
