Hello guys,

I have a company in Poland. And I manufacture my product in China. I just got a client in Spain!

1. How can I send the product to him directly from China WITHOUT importing it first to Poland?
2. I assume I must pay duty and VAT in Spain when importing the product under my company. Do I have to pay additional VAT when re-selling the product to the buyer?

Thanks!

Hi! Yes, in most cases, it would be legal to send a product to Spain without importing it to Poland first, because your company is registered in Poland and this means that you have the right to do business in all EU countries, but then you have to comply with Spanish financial and tax laws.

I am a lawyer based in Poland, and I might be able to help you with your case.

if you are still interested, please send me a private message on this forum, and we may be able to proceed with your case.

Easily. You get a local Spanish agent to clear the goods for you.

If you want to import it yourself and then send it on, then yes, you'll have to do it. Yes, you'll have to pay something additional to the Spanish tax authorities.

In all seriousness, if you only have one client in Spain, it would be best to simply let your client deal with the import formalities.
