Polish citizenship for my kids - 'living in Poland may be a must for the citizenship'

I am a polish citizen (although never lived in Poland). I want polish passports for my kids, and I hear from few people the law will be changed and living in Poland may be a must for the citizenship.

Should I do it now or I can wait for the kids to get little older? (the oldest is 8 years old)

Someone is pulling your chain, but you can start the procedures for your kids now. Once they have a Polish citizenship, it will be no problem.

Not quite sure what the point is of having citizenship of a country someone has never lived in, nor ever intends too.

If the emotional tie to a country is that strong, then live there for some of the time at least.

You do not neeed to give a reason why you want a citizenship of a country. But you must try and get the paperwork organized.
