EU citizen, offshore company, what are the laws regarding Income if I move to Poland?

Hello,

I am an EU citizen who has lived outside the EU for the last year and a half. I own a company in HK from which I pay myself salary.

I am considering moving to Poland, but am unsure about the laws as they apply to my situation. As an EU citizen with income from a foreign corporation, can I just set up and work in Poland due to the EU freedom of movement?

Will I be considered legally a tourist unless I have a job or business in Poland?

If I choose to stay in Poland, what kind of tax will I pay on this income?

Am I covered by the blue health insurance card or do I need to pay tax to be covered?

If I want to get a driving license, what kind of residency do I need?

Thanks a lot for answering these questions!

Probably depends if there is any tax treaty between Hong-Kong and EU/Poland. You don't wanna pay double taxes on the same income ;). My gut feeling strongly tells me you should not move your business to EU unless you want to pay more taxes.
