Buying an old car in Poland and bring it to Italy

Buongiorno a tutti,

this is Alex from Italy.
I'm considering to buying an old Mercedes in Poland from a private person.
The car is in rather good conditions, but for sure i will have to bring it to Italy on a trailer .
I don know yet if original documents are available, or if there is only a copy of them.
Anyway i will have a selling contract (in Polish and English) which states that I have the property of the car.

Do you think there will be any problem in bringing the car out of Poland?
do you have any suggestion for me?

Thank you in advance.

Alex

Depending on which border you cross, you may have to prove that you have paid the tax on the purchase contract. I don't know the legalities regarding foreigners paying this tax, but it's referred to as PCC and states that 2% needs to be paid on all sales contracts over 800PLN (or it was last time I bought an old car).

Thanks for prompt answer, richfilth.
This means there are borders they might ask, and there are they might not???
what is a PCC?
is there maybe an office I can ask to?

thanks a ... LOT

Alex
