How do I arrange a Dowód Osobisty / ID card in Poland?

Can someone here help me by explaining how I apply for a Dowód Osobisty? I recently arrived in Kraków and plan to stay here for a couple years.

I have a valid Polish passport with a PESEL, and I just had the photo taken that's required for the Dowód. Can someone point me in the right direction for the next step?

I'm a polish foreigner moving to Poznan in september ,I have a polish passport ,I would like to know where I could get the polish ID in Poznan ,and the required documents .

You need to go to the closest City Hall ( Urzad Miasta ), bring your passport, pictures and fill out the application.

can someone give me addresses ? I searched on google maps ,but got so many results .

The town hall is on Pl. Kolegiacki. The office that issues ID cards is on ul. Libelska.

not yet . I used to speak polish when I was little ,but i had to stop learning .


my mom is half polish (born in syria) ,which makes me a quarter polish ,she took her passport because her mom is polish ,and I took mine from my mom .
