Hello, pursuant to art 10 of the act on Polish citizenship, after 3 years of marriage with other Polish citizen, if you are living legally in Poland for at least 6 months, you are entitled to Polish citizenship. You need to file a motion to proper authorities - since you live in Poland this will be Wojewoda in your województwo.

if you're married for 3 years than 6 months of living in Poland is sufficient (and not 2 years).

Immigration in reverse direction? Poor Brits.
What benefits does Polish Citizenship give you?
Can you get an ID card?
Do you have to give up foreign (GB) passport?

If you have the Polish citizenship you will get ID card (dowód osobisty). Basically, if you're from GB (i.e. EU) then already you enjoy all rights of Poles in Poland, probably only with some exceptios when it comes to purchasing of an agricultural land and in elections for MP/President:) So there are no extraordinary benefits.
Getting Polish citizenship does not mean that you have to give up foreign passport (or even citizenship), however as always there are some exceptions, but I don't think it would apply to persons from EU

I don't think the original poster is from the EU.
Where are you from?
I am an Australian citizen, my grandparents were Polish (they have passed away) but my Mother was born in Australia and is not a Polish citizen. Does anyone know if I can become a citizen? And how I can go about this.
