Inquiry about Resident Permit in Warsaw (I'm from India)

Greetings,

I am from India, I came to poland last year in winter semester to study economics in university of lodz. It turned out to be a bad choice for me to be in lodz and study economics. I traveled to budapest, berlin, poznan, prague and many other places rather than studying and also first time in my life I experienced winters and snow which turned out to be quite long this year :)

So, my situation right now is that I am living with one of my new friends in warsaw and I am out of university of Lodz. Warsaw is better city for me than lodz, I have decided to live here and study philosophy course in warsaw university in english and actually start learning a little polish which I am avoiding since I am here.

Now i want help to get a resident permit to stay in warsaw. I have a place which is rented by my friend but I dont know how to go about getting a legal title to an apartment which is necessary to apply for resident permit in warsaw.

Can somebody help me with the process of getting a resident permit and probably a work permit to stay in warsaw?

any sort of help would be appreciated ......

You may apply for temporary residence permit if you present documented grounds for your stay, for example:

Starting or continuation of studies programme in Poland

or

Starting or continuation of work on the territory of Poland

Now i want help to get a resident permit to stay in warsaw.

You need to find out what are detailed requirements in Warsaw. Maybe it would be enough to come with renter of the place, who will provide rental agreement.
