If you have a company in Poland can the bank account name be that of the owner or does it have to be the name of the company.
I ask because I am trying to purchase a product from a company called Roter Custom Guitars and they want me to transfer the funds into a personal bank account. They say this is normal business practice in Poland.

Slinner - depends if they are doing it "on the side", self employed or a registered company; you could use something like escrow.com as it protects both sides if you are not sure.
If they are a company or self employed it should be listed with a VAT number and searchable on company registration website.
