I want to post some items on allegro.pl for sale.I'd like to to know if these items wouldn't be bought,will I have to pay any money to the site?

Yes they will take some money if you sell your item expect to lose about 7% of your sale price. If your item doesn't sell they will just charge you the listing fee. This fee is different depending on how you list your item and what it is. If you let me know what you're trying to sell I can give you some figures

I sell thousands of items each month on Allegro so if you tell me what you are trying to sell and how you are listing it i.e buy it now or auction then I can give you some figures

I guess if they are new items you will be selling them on buy it now, roughly the listing fees for each items will be about 2-3 zloty (this may be more if you put lots of photos and choose to promote your item.) Just try listing one item and before you hit the button to confirm the listing it will tell you exactly how much it will cost you. One thing you may want to consider is that if you are planning on selling lots of items it would be in your interest to open an Allegro store. It makes listing a lot cheaper, for example the items I sell without an Allegro store it costs 30gr per item to list with an Allegro store it costs 5gr so it's a big difference

I would like to sell laptops on allegro.pl, but I do not know how the system works? I am a private seller, not a company.

I would appreciate if you could give me some answers.

1. How does PayU work?
2. After a buyer buys my item, will I receive the money instantly in my bank account? Does PayU hold the funds until I deliver the merchandise or, can I withdraw the money instantly into my bank account? If PayU holds the funds, for how long do they do it? I need to know it because I have to pay my suppliers.

3. Do polish people prefer to make a direct bank transfer or pay by PayU?
Is the buyer protected when buying on allegro.pl and paying via direct debit (bank transfer). Is the buyer covered by Purchase Protection in this instance?
