ADRIANMC 1 | - 9 Jan 2014 / #1I am looking for some general feedback, I will get some firm details in a few days.An individual who works in the UK, is married here and has a child, has returned to Poland for a holiday. On arriving in Poland, they find several letters at their previous address "court papers"These papers I am told say that this persons father, who left the family when the child was 12, is now claiming - though courts in Poland - an income form the child. From a UK point of view this sounds impossible - can it be the case in Poland? If / When I get the "Court Papers" I will post more, any initial thoughts would be helpful.

It is indeed possible for a parent to claim support from their child but given that the parent abandoned the child, the child might be able to use that to avoid the need to pay.
