I am trying to hire a professional voice artist for various automated language prompts (telecom).
I was wondering if anyone on these forums could listen to the voice sample below, and advise if the voice actress sounds professional (accent, voice, pronunciation, etc.)

Thank you in advance for your opinions.

It won't let me post a direct link, so please copy / paste the below into your browser.

It sounds a little bit annoying. And not natural. And it's certainly too correct in pronunciation- the ą and ę.

the voice actress has a slight foreing accent (Ukrainian) but it is very slight and otherwise it is perfect Polish with good pronounciation

Lenka is being overly critical btw

Don't get me started on the lack of ę in Polish!

I pronounce it because I can :P

May be but he asked about our opinions- I gave mine. If I worked with her I would ask her to relax a little and don't try so hard. And yes- the actress have eastern accent.

Thank you all very much for your prompt responses.

That particular actress also does Russian ( I was told with a wrong accent) and Slovak, so I was worried.

I will try to get additional samples from other voice talents.

She's probably native Slovak then. Oksana is not a Polish name.

I think Ukrainian. And the eastern accent is small when you talk to the person, but it's huge for a professional voice application. It'll sound annoying or at least funny for most Poles.

It sounds very wooden and unnatural to me.
She might be Ukrainian, she speaks like a person from Kresy.

Agnieszka must be a native speaker. Perfect polish. The other link does not work.

Agnieszka is perfect. No doubt about that. I like that she "acts" with her voice. Kathy can't hold a candle to her.

Oksana - she speaks good Polish but can't be Polish, she clearly has an Eastern European accent

Agnieszka - Perfect Polish

Kathy - fail but you can understand that :)

Agnieszka - Perfect Polish

Listen carefully, she has the eastern accent too, though much more slight than Oksana.
She says 'uo' instead of 'o' e.g. rozmuowa', 'muoże'. She sound like people in Białystok.
I'd say that her Polish is ok but her pronunciation has some regional (eastern) shade.

Kathy

A foreigner, makes grammar errors. May be difficult to understand on a low quality voice line.
