I plan on proposing to my girlfriend in the next few weeks and am planning to ask her parents for permission first (I've seen arguments on whether or not you should, however I am, so please no discussion of that). The way that I understand you say it is "Chciałbym prosić o rękę Państwa córki". Can anyone verify this or offer any alternatives? I know that previous phrase means "I'd like to ask for your daughters hand", however how do you add the "in marriage" part at the end? Thanks!
How to properly ask for girlfriend's hand in marriage to Polish speaking parents?
however how do you add the "in marriage" part at the end?
Why do you want to add that?

I asked my fiances mom, since her father died when she was young. However, her mom is a lawyer and speaks better English than I do, so didn't have to bridge the language barrier as well. I think even if you have someone translate it, its the gesture which is most important!

Asking owners for permission first? Nice
@Wulkan
Yeah, I heard elsewhere that part is unnecessary, guess it just sounds better in English so I wasn't sure if it would translate well.

The phrase you quoted is fine. No need to add 'in marriage'. It's kind of obvious you don't want to chop her hand off ;)
If you want to do it in the traditional way, bring flowers for her mum and something for her dad. It's usually some good alcohol - but check if he drinks. Or ask your girlfriend for advice.
