what means 'studia podyplomowe' ?

I can't understand what exactly means. It's like master degree or bachelor degree?

Postgraduate studies.

It's sort of postgraduate studies, but it isn't worth anything outside of Poland. It's mainly used by Poles to gain 'rights' to do things, such as teaching.

Not really, doctoral is doctoral, and post-graduate is doing another MA (or BA) - not necessarily going up the ladder for PhD.
It means doing another licencjat or magister title, in other field.


Not quite true either. If you have more than one BA, BS or MA etc. and it is respected outside Poland (why wouldn't it be?) then you have specialities in those areas. Why wouldn't it be worth anything?

Doesn't it mean specifically studying one of those post-diploma courses that exist? For instance - pulling a random link from google - kde.edu.pl/page.php/1/0/show/1624 - it isn't a BA/MA, it's rather just something that gets you qualified in Poland to do something. For instance - where I work - there's someone with a history degree that studied elementary education as a postdiploma subject. It didn't give her another BA/MA, but it gave her the 'rights' to teach.

Ok, I didn't know that, you can be right too. What I meant was another BA/MA after you've already had a diploma. Quite common case in Poland, people seem often over-educated (thought the quality of some schools that give out some of those diplomas can be veeery different).
